I have to say sorry for not updating this blog regularly. If you have visited my photo blog, you could tell that I spent more time there than here. Honestly, I got some ideas to write about and I won’t use the writer’s block as my excuse because I didn’t really push myself hard enough to write.
It’s August now and I could call it as a real summertime. Summertime here means tons of fresh cherries. In fact since I live in Canada, I started to love them. Well, in Indonesia, the cherry that I knew comes in a can and quite expensive so I had never care for it. Now, I’ve taken many shots of cherries and ended up the photo sessions by eating them too. Nice life!
Anyway, if you agree that life is just like a bowl of cherries, I hope you enjoy this submission. Another gentle reminder that we should live and laugh. I will definitely do that as our summer is too short here.
Life is just a bowl of cherries;
Don’t make it serious;
Life’s too mysterious.
You work, you save, you worry so,
But you can’t take your dough when you go, go, go.
So keep repeating it’s the berries;
The strongest oak must fall.
The sweet things in life
To you were just loaned,
So how can you lose what you’ve never owned?
Life is just a bowl of cherries,
So live and laugh at it all.
“Life is Just a Bowl of Cherries” a song by Lew Brown and Ray Henderson, sung by Ethel Merman in Scandals (1931)
I’ll be back.
